Her wardrobe effortlessly mixes new and old, combining pre-loved finds with sustainable brands. We challenged Amma to let go of the items she no longer wears and to sell them on OWNI. How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as colourful, cosy, sometimes oversized, vibrant and always mindful.
Who is your style crush?
Keke Palmer’s style in the new Jordan Pele movie Nope. Everything she wore I LOVED. Then there’s Jodie Smith - her style is elegant but has a certain edgy, down-to-earth confidence to it too.
What are you selling on OWNI and why?
I’m selling pieces I've enjoyed wearing from quality sustainable brands (Tach, Koko World, Nu-In, Grassfields) and one swapped item from Karen Millen. I’m selling these as some are a bit too big or I'm not 100% comfortable in them. Yes, I’m a fair fashion “influencer”. No, I'm not perfect when it comes to my fashion choices. Sometimes I get clothes whether it’s from an eco brand or a pre-loved find and realise they don’t fit great or some years down the line realise I’m no longer making good use of them. Luckily that doesn’t happen too often anymore but that’s when platforms like OWNI are super useful, helping me resell quality sustainable brands like the ones on my page.
